This year, I was honored to partner with acclaimed screenwriter Alan Roth to turn What She Lost into a script for TV/streaming. When Alan approached me about working together to transform the story from a novel into a pilot episode, I couldn't have been more excited. His expertise in the field is evident from his bio: He is a member and Fellow of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and serves as an adjunct professor of screenwriting at Fairleigh Dickinson’s School of the Arts. He is also a winner of the coveted Nicholl Fellowship Academy Award for best original screenplay (Jersey City Story). Click on the link to see his acceptance speech, presented by Tom Rickman (Coal Miner's Daughter, Tuesdays with Morrie).

This summer, we finished the manuscript for the episode and now it is being shopped with producers in the industry. Stay tuned here for updates and more news! In the meantime, check out Alan's impressive work!
Past Projects
In 2021, I was approached by the director/producer of a small independent film company to participate in a documentary series called Generation to Generation. This is an award-winning series, created by Thomas (the son of a Holocaust Survivor) and Teresa Biebers of B and B Productions. Each episode is dedicated to a particular survivor whose journey is shared through their children or grandchildren. The episode based on my novel, What She Lost, turned into a full-length film that has been entered in a number of film festivals and is being used as the pilot to sell the series to networks. The premiere of the film took place at Union Terminal in downtown Cincinnati on October 30, 2021, and has since been shown on a number of screens. It was an honor to participate in this very worthwhile project and share my family's story with the world!
